BIRMINGHAM are set to complete a £5million for Fabrizio Miccoli

BIRMINGHAM are set to complete a £5million raid for Italian striker Fabrizio Miccoli after Palermo said he could leave.

The Serie A men had rejected a £4m bid - but Miccoli stated he wanted to play in England. Sporting director Walter Sabatini said: "We will try to please him."
