Adebayor: Let me play in first eleven or I'm out

EMMANUEL ADEBAYOR claims he will quit Manchester City if he is not guaranteed a starting role.

The former Arsenal striker returned to the team for the Europa League victory over Timisoara last night.
But he could find himself back on the bench for Sunday's Premier League clash against Sunderland if £24million new boy Mario Balotelli recovers from a knee problem.
Adebayor faces stiff competition for a spot in the first XI from the 19-year-old Italian and new City captain Carlos Tevez.
The Togo hitman has seen just seven minutes of Premier League action so far this term and has threatened to call time on his stay at Eastlands if he does not get more playing time.
Adebayor said: "The season is going to be very long and very difficult for myself.
"I'm a footballer and have to keep going and not give up. I need to keep fighting for myself and enjoying my football.
"But if you're in a team and you're not playing and there is a team that comes in for me, then I will definitely be on my way out because I'm a footballer and I love playing.
"So if I don't have a chance to play here there will be a lot of chances to play somewhere else.
"If they [Manchester City] force you out then you always have to follow your destiny."
